SARAH LILIAN KOBER


was born in Munich in 1988. After completing her school exams, she gained a place to study classical saxophone with André Legros and Koryun Asatryan at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. In 2013 she successfully completed her teaching diploma, in 2014 her performance diploma.

 

Sarah Lilian Kober regularly participates in master classes held by internationally acclaimed musicians such as Vincent David, Arno Bornkamp, Jan Schulte-Bunert, Joonatan Rautiola, Christian Wirth, Daniel Gauthier, Markus Zahnhausen.

Throughout the year she regularly performs concerts with her other chamber Ensemble "DUO MILLEFLEURS", a saxophone piano duo with the pianist Nestan Heberger. She also collaborates closely with the composer and pianist Peter Ludwig.

Since 2018 she teaches saxophone at Kreismusikschule Erding, close to Munich.

VADYM PALII


was born in Ukraine and from an early age began piano and singing lessons.

He studied piano with Tatjana Rumjantzeva, as well as choral-conducting and teacher training in his hometown Cernowitz. He continued his musical education at the Kunstuniversität in Graz with Henry Sigfridsson and Milana Chernyavska.

In 2015 he completed his master degree with honours in solo piano. His focus has always been on chamber music, which he studied with Andreas Woyke and Chia Chou.

Additionally he finished his master degree in piano- and vocal accompaniment with Prof. Joseph Breinl, also with honours.

During his studies Vadym Palii took part in many master classes by internationally acclaimed musicians such as Boris Berezovsky, Jury Kot, KS Brigitte Fassbaender, KS Robert Holl, Reinhild Mees and Jan-Philipp Schulze.

He is the winner of many international and national competitions and has performed worldwide with a variety of different chamber ensembles. 

When he is not playing with TRIO ÉTOILES he works as an accompanist, solo-pianist, piano teacher and vocal accompanist.

VANJA SEDLAK


Classical saxophonist Vanja Sedlak has performed at the Berlin Philharmonic and as a soloist with the Belgrade Philharmonic, with the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and the New Munich Philharmonic.

Vanja Sedlak graduated from the University of Ljubljana and the University of Music and Theater in Munich, where he completed his Master in Contemporary Music. 

Winner of national and international solo and chamber music competitions, he premiered works by new composers and has worked with many different chamber music ensembles, such as the Ensemble Oktopus and Opus21musikplus, among others.

Vanja Sedlak took part in numerous master classes by internationally renowned saxophonists such as Claude Delangle, Jean-Marie Londeix, Vincent David, Jean-Yves Fourmeau, Daniel Gauthier and others.

He is a guest artist at the August Everding Academy in Munich and is currently teaching saxophone and chamber music at the musical branch at the Seligenthal high school in Landshut, Bavaria.
